Adam White

Adam was never supposed to be in travel. At least that’s what the career counsellor said after visiting his school. But having been born in Calcutta, and lived on Guernsey, and studied in Paris, it is perhaps unsurprising that a life in travel beckoned.
Whilst he tells people he started in travel aged five because he is still so young, Adam has thirty-two years experience in the industry, having started as an apprentice with Thomas Cook and worked his way up. He is now living his dream by building up his own travel company, Baxter Hoare Travel.
Despite being a workaholic Adam tries to get a life balance by playing competition bridge, travelling to new places and supporting The Arsenal.
Ann Gavin

Ann has worked in finance in the travel industry for over thirty years. Her roles have included credit control management, accounts management, system implementation and major account implementation. Ann enjoys her current role as finance director at Baxter Hoare Travel.
Her outside of work interests include travel, interior design, gardening and, of course, shopping.
John Hussey
Business Travel Manager

John has over forty-five years working for Baxter Hoare Travel, starting as an office junior working his way through the ranks to managing the business travel department. He has many interesting stories that he can tell, some including his famous (and not so famous) clients – one being the late Peter Sellers; whilst on holiday in Los Angeles, John made a personal delivery of tickets to him at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Outside of the office John likes gardening, long walks, spending time with his family, food and wine and Formula One.
Cheryl Simpson

Straight from 'the convent' to work in the travel industry, Cheryl has been at Baxter Hoare for over twenty years specialising in luxury private travel as well as managing top corporate accounts.
Cheryl's passions in life are travelling with her family (from skiing to adventure holidays), shopping, cooking and drinking fine wines. Cheryl's ambition is to retire to her second home on Mykonos.
Nicole Paterson
Events Manager

Nicole graduated with a 2.1 in Business & Financial Services. After a year working as an insurance broker for HSBC she decided the time was right to go travelling for a year. On her return she undertook a project based job at Pressplan Travel and seven years later is now heading our events team.
Nicole loves skiing, sailing and dinner parties.
Jade Cannon

Having joined the industry aged sixteen as a trainee in business travel, Jade has covered all aspects of business travel, music touring travel and event management. Being recently engaged, life outside of work is all about wedding planning – but in her spare time she enjoys movies, reading and long country walks.
