Baxter Hoare acquires Roman jewel
Baxter Hoare has bought St. Albans based Pressplan Travel Limited for an undisclosed sum.
Founded over forty years ago, Pressplan Travel of Verulam Road, St. Albans, is a highly respected travel company. In addition to business travel, Pressplan has a strong presence in the events and exhibitions market. Pressplan acts as the officially appointed travel management company and hotel contractor for some forty worldwide exhibitions and trade fairs.
For the last four decades, event organizers, exhibitors and visitors have been using Pressplan’s specialist booking service to arrange accommodation at shows such as Drupa, Meditech, Arab Health, Anuga, Sial and Brau.
All of the Pressplan team, including former owner and industry veteran, Robert Andlaw, will join forces with the Baxter Hoare team at their London Bridge headquarters. The combined business will add to Baxter Hoare’s already significant presence in the domestic and international events markets. Nicole Paterson will lead the combined events business and joins the Baxter Hoare management team.
